This section is the most annoying one to me. People will post about achievements that nobody really care about. Occassionally there is a good reason like 5k posts or whatever, but most of the time its "Yay hit 100 posts after a year on the site", and then you get a bunch of fake ass people responding with "awesome keep up the good work" "great job man hope to see you around".... Super frustrating to watch all the garbage posts in that section.
Unless you know the person in real life, I HIGHLY doubt that you are excited that some person you have never met or heard of in your life got 100 posts

actually you're right, you see these people congratulating them like they ran a marathon or something, I know these guys do it for the post count. They couldn't care less. AND the introduce yourself section is the same way. The same thing will be posted like 10 times. "welcome to TTG, stay active and read the rules" Like they don't already know that?

Oh well it's just a section. I was mostly mad to hear what you can and can't post in it. It said you can post personal achievements, that haven't occurred on the site, and I think someone posted something about their 5k they ran or something and it got deleted. I find that a very good achievement

Very True,
I found the same thing is true in the Introduce yourself forum. There are people with five posts saying stay active or enjoy your stay.

You meet a lot of cool people over a 4 month period, generally. Sometimes the posts are genuine, 95% of the time the Milestone & Introduction section is used as a post count. I've done it before, and many many others have too.
It's a silly way to get posts, not that they are important. People *including myself will still try to gain more to 'level' up. Yes, it's meaningless, why does it bug you!? Spend time in the categories you like, instead of looking at the recent posts for some easy random posts!
