alrighty.. What kind of cord are you using ?? patch/crossover, straight through..(look on the cord sleeve should say something?

you have to have 2 eithernet cords. and you plug on into the retail and then plug it into the router. and then plug the other one into the router and then go to start up the game but before you do plug the other eithernet cord(the one thats only in the the router, not the one in the retail)into the back of the jtag and start the system link. also make sure that the retail is already online and then join the jtag on the retail and then go to xbox live to prestige when you are ready... hope this helps

Ok So heres how you do it what you do is that you have to first use ur non jtagged xbox to recover the gamertag you will need the email and password used to set up the xbox live account once youve done that go onto ur jtagged xbox and run xex menu and start modern warefare 2 make sure both of ur xboxes are connected to the internet u can either use 2 ethernet cables or 2 wireless or mix just make sure ur connected so then with jtagged xbox go onto system link and create game then on non jtagged join and start lobby make sure xbox live unlocks are on if not u will not recieve 10th prestige on ur xbox live account I think the infections go after im not quite sure usually its when u switch ur xbox off. Hope I helped and getting my xbox back soon it went off to be jtagged so i have to know all these stuff
