Hey I just ordered my new gaming pc from PC specialist but I ordered a 450w power supply, I'm running the HD 7870 and i've saw some stuff online saying you need a 500w, then more saying you only need a 450w and so on..

When I was configuring it I originally went with the 650w Unit but it said I'd only need a 450w with a 20w allowance. Would it run ok without any problems?

PS. would this mean I can't over clock the CPU and GPU?

Send your pc back immediately. You overpaid and AMD is going to have big issues running any programs. Build your own, you won't be sorry

Every 450w PSU I've seen has one PCI-E connector, so you can't even run the 7870 normally. It also doesn't even show you what model it is, so there's no telling whether there are even enough amps on the 12v rails to run a 7870. THIS is why prebuilts are stupid. It's just embarassing. I'm not even going to start on the other parts.

Cancel your order or send it back ASAP. This is tragic.

Let's just say we call it Faildozer for a reason. An argument can be made for the Piledriver FX 8320 and 6300 under some circumstances (even then, it's hard to recommend them), but everything else is just a gigantic and unfortunate flop. The RAM is 1.65v, which is incompatible (per Intel's specifications) with current Intel platforms. The H60 is a joke. The 7870 is probably reference, which wastes the potential of the card. The keyboard is garbage. The mouse is overpriced from this vendor. The HDD and PSU are unnamed and that should raise all kinds of red flags for you as a consumer.
