Kilobyte wrote Overkill on some things... 32GB of ram is just idiotic.*Cough* Video Productions. If you have Adobe After Effects the RAM preview is horrible without sufficient RAM, mines 8Gb and can't do it without a lot of lag!

Ok but you see 32gb is 4 times what you have. So considering yours does the job with 8 with some "lag" then he should be fine with 12gb. Maybe even 16 if he really want's that much but 32 is just way to much.

He wants it to be overkill. for video production hes gonna need to be able to run more than 2 or 3 programs at a time

Exactly, you understand, its meant to be able to have after effects, photoshop, cinema 4d, sony vegas, and skype open, and obviously I can do without 32 or having all my programs open, but whats the point of that? an extra $50 and I can have all open plus anything else I might want open.

The RAM is not the only part that is overkill...lol
MOBO / PSU fit those examples perfectly..but it's your money and your choice regardless if it's a pointless buy and horrible bang for your buck or not.

Yeah, my friend bought the psu to help me out, but didn't know what I needed, so he just went overboard just in case. Haha and other the psu, everything fits pretty dang perfect for what I need it for, and for the most part what I got was on sale during cybermonday, so I got the parts at about 25% off (they were on sale), so it is alot of bang for my buck, but thanks for your opinion.
