So you are on 6.0.1 and you are trying to downgrade to just 6.0?

nonon ok so when i was looking on a tut to jail break firmware 6.0.1 it says download firmware 6.0.0 and put it in the "selcet ipsw" spot.

im currently recovering my device

Haha no no no that wouldn't work anyway
There is no way to downgrade from 6.0.1 to 6.0, which is what the tut is telling you. You would have to use 6.0.1 to jailbreak, because unless you have your SHSH blobs saved, then there really is no feasible way to do a jailbreak using the 6.0 that you downloaded.

here is a guide if you are using an iphone 4s, 4, 3gs, etc. Not sure if this method will work on the retina iPad or iphone 5 though.

to clearify it says no device could be located after i put my iphone into dfu mode
