Details: I need very portable headphones. I blow out headphones really fast because I listen really loud. So if there are any really reliable loud ones that would be great if not I'll just listen quieter. I also need really good sound isolation for loud cafeterias and hallways.

1. Stop listening to music so loudly.

2. Xeport 5010

Details: I'm thinking about the Audio Technicas ATH-M50 Limited edition, Which on amazon is 150$ right now. I'm just aiming for something with good quality, and has some style to it. Would you recommend those Audio Technicas? Thanks.

How important is bass? If you want good vocals, in your budget, you won't be able to get too much bass. If you want something portable, the Audio Technica ESW9 is absolutely amazing for vocals and has a nice amount of bass punch. Their only problem is that they're kind of fragile. For your studio, you'll want neutral headphones, so the AKG K271 would be a good option.

Ultrasone HFI580 if you just need them to fold. If you need more portability, the AKG K181 would be easier to bring around.

Also. Dakmart is selling the Momentum for $200. I'm incredibly tempted.

Speaking of new headphone releases, I'm still waiting for more info on the Tiesto line from AKG. The bassheads are getting excited about them.

They seem like a good alternative to the M100. I wonder how the bass settings work. I don't see the same ports as the K181.

If you can get them for about $120 and less, I'd say yes. The bass will be slightly emphasized when powered properly (as long as it's not a small device like the ipod it's fine).

For studios, they're okay as long as you aren't mastering with them. Tracking's all they're good for. If you try to master with them, your tracks will sound incredibly off.

ALso do you kno anything on docking stations? I'm getting a new IPhone for Christmas and i'm not sure what the best docking station would be. The budget for that would be around 50 but cheaper if possible.

Thanks.
