you dont compare them cards are they are not in the same price range if u want to compare something to the GTX 670 compare the 7970

While yes the 670 wins in most scenarios, the 7950 is better for multiple monitors because of the 3GB vRAM, and also that extra 1GB vRAM is worthwhile as some games are now taking 2.2GB of vRAM at max.

It seems the 670 is better but the price is a bit overpriced
