I got this laptop today, but I won't be getting it till Christmas


I want to know your options on it. I am going to be using it for editing and graphics designs

Is there any reason you got a laptop over building a desktop?

Nice, except 5400 RPM HDD.
That's the only thing I don't like

Could always have asked about building a mini-ITX or micro-ATX build but its a bit late now.
For rendering and graphics the ram is enough, an i7 would've been preferable but the intergrated graphics is where you are going to falter.
