-Val wrote LMFAO. No its not going to end. The guy that said it was said he miscalculated it and it was suppose to be like 2052 or something like an idiot.
There is no guy, the world isn't going to end, and go do some actual research.

-DROCK- wrote the leap year was created after the myans predicted the world to end. Julius Caesar created it around 50 b.c., so since then, there have been many extra days. With those extra days, we world be living a couple years ahead, maybe 2015. So, 12/21/12 would have happened a few years ago, making it not real

Nope. The Mayan Calendar is based off of baktuns. These baktuns last 144,000 days. Since it's built strictly by days, leap years make zero difference. If we didn't create leap years, the Mayan Calendar would still end in a couple of days, but our calendar's date would be a different day, month, and year. The 21st marks the end of another Mayan Calendar cycle. It's done it before, and it will continue on.

The closest that we're gonna come to death are between the years of 2029-2036. A Comet is going to bypass Earth and it's suppose to be the closest a Comet has ever came to Earth, I think they said it would pass within a few thousand miles of Earth. That's what you should be worried about. Pretty sure it's the size of Mars or something like that.

If you're an idiot, you will think the world is going to end. If you have common sense, you will know that the world isn't ending.
