My name is Keiran and I'm 16. I want to start a new gaming channel (Lets Plays, Tutorials, etc) and hope to go big. A big achievement would be to get a partnership.

I need tips on:
What should I name the channel?
What games should I play?
Should I commentate?
How long should I make the videos?
What partnership network (big or small)

Any advice you wish to give me will help.

I hope you will see me on YouTube in the near future. Thanks.

Name does not matter as long as it is not generic and is easy to remember
Games you want to try and keep to whats popular and play new games as soon as hey come out
Commentate is always a yes unless it is a montage, you would not watch a long gameplay with nobody talking
Videos length you want to keep them shortish when you first start as you will probably find commentating quite awkward but just make sure they are not long and boring
I don't think partnership is an issue yet i think you just want to try it out and maybe go for that later on
the main tip i can give you is to network and get your videos out there find other channels the same size as yours and work together and just put your videos every where you can making sure you do not spam
lastly make sure you have fun ;when commentating it is easy to tell when someon is enjoying themselves don't sound bored!
