They wont be doing any bans/resets until they patch it. Whats the point of resetting somebody if they can just turn around and do the glitch 5 mins later?

I don't think they can ban you its not a game glitch its a signing in/out glitch. Nothing to do with modding the games code or anything of that sort.

The same glitch was discovered in Gears of War 3, and people got banned

Well, the only way they can ban you is because the leader boards don't copy over so they aren't accurate. So I recommend playing atleast one game of every game type (besides like Gun Game ofc) so they all update. But there's not really chance of you NOT getting banned. This is a kind of glitch that could ruin the game.

They don't care. If you changed your rank without doing it legit, you will be reset.

Glitching is Any user who abuses an exploit in game code or other established rule of play is subject to penalty. An example includes but is not limited to using a hole in the map geo to intentionally go outside of the map boundary.

First offense: User will be temporarily banned from playing the game online, will have their stats & emblems reset, and will have their leaderboard entries deleted.
