devils2012 wrote what a waste of moneyActually, its an amazing computer. 6 core cpu, 680, 32 gb ram, OCZ Vector, and liquid cooled. It's just ludicrous to have all that power in a mini-itx form factor.

Why did you go for the 2500K and not a newer 3570K?

They're the same CPU besides the 3570k is ever so slightly faster at stock clocks and has PCIE 3.0 even though the difference is minimal.

I'm not really an Intel guy, but I heard the 2500K runs hotter than the 3570K.

NyanDog wroteI actually picked the 2500k over the 3570k for my real build because it simply wasn't worth the extra $25. I have it overclocked to 4.3 ghz, btw.Generation wroteNyanDog wrote Why did you go for the 2500K and not a newer 3570K?

It's opposite bud... Ivy bride (Current Gen) runs a lot hotter than sandy bridge (older gen)
