Just because they are lining up does not mean anything. You know what an Eclipse is? The moon in lined u in front of the sun? We definitely die whenever there's an Eclipse right? No. This is completely wrong.

I don';t think that the whole world will end, however there might be some earthquakes/tsunamis etc.

Obviously the Mayans watched the stars for over a long period of time. The planets have lined up before. So with this being said, they were able to tell how many years it would happen again. Just like they did with the moon cycles. They just tracked how many times that it happened.

your an idiot. people whos ancestors were Mayans and people who still live by Mayan culture have said the 2012 thing is a load of bs. its the end of what they call a "long year" im not sure how long a long year lasts, buts its like a a century or a decade.
