Help out the world and sign the petition for the construction of the Death Star by 2016. You need a WhiteHouse.gov account, but it takes 2 seconds to make.

This is of course a joke, but apparently if it gets 25k signatures it is required to be reviewed by Obama. As of now, we need 3,000 more signatures. Its almost sad that this got more signatures than other petitions, such as to stop bobcat hunting with hunting dogs, and even a petition to raise NASA funding, which only got around 5k signatures. Please sign this one, and browse around and see if you would like to sign others.

Well, looks like it will make it to 25,000 signatures. We need 2,500 more in the next 30 hours, so I think it's not unreasonable to say that we will have a Death Star in space sometime around 2020.
