Hi, Ive just got a decent graphics card 7950. I dont know where to start. I liked xbox live coz of getting achievements and stuff so should i buy games for windows or use steam. i dont have a clue tbh.

Use steam.

That's what I recommend anyway.

Yeah, i loved geting achievements on Xbox aswell, it's fun to look at your gamerscore, I have no idea why it is though. But PC gamign is way better, due to all the possibilities, and the xbox overheating with all new games is pretty damn annoying.

Steam is better, also steam has a award set up Kinda like xbox. :-) and yes Pc is allot better way better graphics less over heating which I would recommend adding a water cooler if you don't already have one.

You can get achievements on steam as well, so go with steam, always!
I can get you a free metro 2033 code on steam ;)

ok thanks guys, ive setup my steam and got metro 2033.
can someone explain this? If u buy a PC game do u get a code with it or just put the disc in.

Did you get Metro 2033 through Steam or what? Because if you get it through Steam, it'll just be sitting in your game library with a launch button
