The Mayan calender has nothing to do with the end of the world.
This about it this way,
Our calenders stop at the 31st December,
The Mayans calender stops at the 21st.
Ours start back up again at the 1st January,
As the same with the Mayans.

just because the all might Mayans didn't continue there calender doesn't mean the world is going to. even if it did they didn't count the leap year should have ended months ago. now all we have to worry about is planet x. nibiru
