Beliebers across the country were horrified yesterday to discover that one of their own had hatched a scheme to murder, and possibly castrate, America's favorite young starlet, Justin Bieber.

According to ABC News, Dana Martin, a Bieberite currently serving a 978-year sentence for rape and murder, masterminded a plot to kill the pop star after Bieber's Nov. 28 show at Madison Square Garden.

Under orders from Martin, former inmate Mark Staake and his nephew, Tanner Ruane, intended to assault Bieber and one of his bodyguards with gardening shears. An affidavit given by Martin claimed the killer even offered Ruane, "$2,500 for each testicle he got."

Thankfully for fans of whatever kind of entertainment Justin Bieber allegedly provides, neither Staake nor Ruane can work a map, and the assassination attempt was foiled after the two men were stopped at the Canadian border and Staake was arrested on the spot. According to the aforementioned affidavit, the two men were on their way to commit aggravated assault against two individuals still unnamed.

Ruane was later arrested in New York after police recorded phone calls he made to Martin in which the pair divulged the gruesome details of their plan.
