One year, the birth of jesus was in a manger, the next year jesus is born near a church. The bible is forever changing. Who could be changing the bible? The government?

If we are all evolved from chimps, monkeys, gorillas and cavemen, then why are there still chimps, monkeys and gorillas? & How was it proven? Do you have proof that it was proven? In Religious terms, the purpose of Earth is to prove that you are worthy enough to enter Heaven.
Being worthy, includes being faithful.
If God were to show himself, faith would be unnecessary and everyone would end up getting into Heaven.
Perhaps this is why Jesus appeared in the Middle East rather than somewhere very literate and logical such as China.
[That sounds very insulting towards the Middle East but it is well known that this was a place of great uncertainty and civil unrest where people would believe just about anything, at the time.]

The more evidence there is, the less faith is required.

The Bible wasn't written 6,000 years ago. :facepalm: And before you start hating on other people's beliefs, why don't you go do your research and know that the theory of evolution can't be proven. There is more proof that God is real than evolution. And the serpent was supposed to be representing the devil in the story of Adam and Eve. Well since that didn't answer my question in any way, where did he come from... explain and don't see "he created himself" because that is BS!

just to say, either of these could be right or wrong, to be honest we will never know untill all the peices of this giant puzzle fit together, but i think that in a way, we are God, because we create all these things, how we happened and all of the universe will allways be a mystery. in a way the holy books are also theory's built up beliefs, nobody has the right to say either one is wrong.

That question is a fallacy.

God, by definition, has always existed and always will exist.

This is a difficult concept for humans to get their mind around because we see that everything must have a beginning and an end.

However, this only applies inside the Universe, under universal laws.

God transcends time and space so these universal laws do not apply to it.
