Cajun wrote What type of website is that? But anyways... its kinda right. Look at the video games being made these days. GTA, Homefront, ETC..
Its actually not even close to right. I play GTA. Do you see me killing hookers and running over random people? It is the case of people doing dumb things because they feel like it. Not video games.

People try to blame school shootings on violent video games or movies that warp the minds of the gunmen all the time. Truth is, though, there are too many variables in effect to truly say that there is a single cause. However, if you pay close attention, you'll realize that the common denominator in all school shootings is the school itself. Clearly, we must ban schools if we ever want to be rid of these massacres. See how silly that sounds? Don't blame it on anything other than the gunman. Some people just aren't right in the head, so they snap and do crazy sh*t. Whether people blame Mass Effect, or Mortal Kombat, or any kind of action movie, they need to give their heads a shake and start pointing fingers at the people who purposefully do harm, because people who make video games and movies want to do nothing but entertain people. They don't work their butts off towards a final product to get yelled at and sued by soccer moms.

Wow u guys should be ashamed of yourselves. Around 27 people died from the shooting and u are arguing about wht video games that u think might have drove those guys. I live in CT about 30 minutes away from Newtown and i know the place where they r showing on tv. I know people in my town and school who have family members at tht school. So show some fuc*ing respect!

upuser wrote There not exactly wrong I am in AP Psychology and you would surprised how much games can affect people. I saw a video about a teen who played GTA all the time and he committed a murder and robbery based off a level in the game.

Will try to find link

I passed AP Psych last year and did extremely well on all of my exams.
Video Games aren't the cause, this man was around 20. He was way too old to have his mind warped around the video games.

Face it, the younger you are the easier it is to shape your mind.
Also, you can tell it might have had to do with his mother.
He shot his mom and then drove to another state to the school she works at and shot up her class the most.

Coincidence? I doubt it.

Fox News has a habit of blaming people for stuff they didn't do.

Cex wrote At what point does a video game say.

"Hey let's go shoot a bunch of defenseless children"

News are just trying to push the blame onto something, it comes up everytime.

Videos games did this, video games do that.

It's getting stupid.

These are video games you play them , there is nothing physical linking to violence about them so why blame on video games , also they have no proof.

That's because it has been linked to problems in younger children.

There was a study done about how children would take anger out on dolls when the psychologist would tell them to.
