I have allways had my crappy basic headphones and would like to upgrade , got any suggestions.

They have to be wired , no wireless.

Well for a good price you can get the turtle beachx12 they are only about $60. But i honestly recommend the x42s they are on sale right now on gamestop.com for only 129.99 regularly 159.99. The thing people have a problem with the x42's is that it is battery opperated but I just got rechargable batterie for mine so I can just rotate the batteries out and never have to worry about recharging the headset itself or having to deal with extra cords. The x42s is the best headset I've ever gotten. If you lack the money though the x12s are also a great buy as well
