It's fine your disk probally has fingerpringts or dust on it just clean it.

I have been having the same issue and it gets so annoying. Have you had any problem with the map loading screen turning green and not loading the map?

I would restart the game console. Maybe check the disk for fingerprints/smudges. There is some data that it could not get to, so it just "green screened" lol.

Yes sir. I went to pick up some dinner and left my HD PVR on and it just stayed on the green loading screen for ages.
