because other countries want more of a resource then the others.

People will continue to do stupid stuff and become "Dumber" Just like all the countries and states.

That's not exactly what he means. If you look at the Mayans and Egyptians, they were very smart people for their time. The Mayans created that calendar that I personally have yet to figure out how they calculated it. The people of those times were usually had around the same level of intelligence. Sure, they varied some since no one is the same, but they had the same general knowledge of each other. Now, you have the great minds of NASA and other great scientists, to the low minds of a lot of the people walking down city streets (as seen on Youtube.) The type of people that grew up and went to school in America and England (or any other big, well-known country), but don't know how many sides a triangle has or the general location of known countries like North and South Korea. We are getting smarter in the sense of our technology, but we are losing true intelligence. Our technology is thinking for us, so we are losing the power of our brain. Of course not everyone is affected by this, but it is growing and will continue to.
