So I've got an Alienware m14x with the nvidia gt 555m and an intel core i7 2ghz processor (no need to tell me, Ik Alienware is overrated). So, the game saints row 3 tends to lag a lot, but I know that the graphics card is powerful enough to run it, so I've come to conclusion that it's my CPU that's making it leggy (cuz you know, sr3 is a large free roam game and the CPU can't load the world fast enough) so now, I'm building a desktop for Christmas with an nvidia gtx 680 and an intel i5 3570k. Will this be plenty enough to run sr3 smoothly (I no the gpu is, but what about the CPU?)

The cpu sound Decent to say the least... Just go to "Canyourunit(dot)com" find the game and look at the minium and recomended specs... That should help you know where your CPU stands...

Please don't. That site is a disaster and should be avoided at all costs since it's extremely flawed, inaccurate and gives misinformed results all the time. If you want to know if 'X' video card can run 'X' game at 'X' setting, Google benchmarks. Yes, a GTX 680 would be more than enough to play SR3. Games are GPU bound and not CPU bound. You can have a $1,000 3960x, but if you don't have a powerful enough video card, you're not running the most demanding games since games won't benefit from more cores or threads.
