One main reason they can't patch you just dying is that it was a fault in a line(or more if you've taken a look at it) in the retail disc, so they just do what they can to stop the code(or lack there of) from being ran to use the glitch. That is also why that cannot patch prestige swap for the life of them. Anything written onto the disc straight into the core of the game (zombie hitting) can't be patched without forcing everyone to get a new, updated disc.

Your ass probably couldn't even do simple html coding.
Quit crying and go back to playing your game.
This, I agree with.
What these guys said.
It's not as simple as push button and click the mouse and BLAMO! Magically fixed . No, boundaries change and so does it affect other boundaries around that spot. Go read the first 5 pages of C++ for dummies and comeback and pount with a reason. " Either way I don't give a damn what you think your entitled to!" (A few good men )

Actually even someone with not much experience in coding could fix this in a better way. This didn't happen in BO1 so it is obviously the fault of a bad coder that it happens in a remake of the game.
this is beyond ridiculous...u have no clue
you shouldnt talk about things you dont understand...

Crookstopher wroteiamjaygee wroteCrookstopher wrote hey guys here's a video of just how treyarch really patches glitches. really? its pathetic they cant take a couple more minutes out of their life which this is all they do to make this the best video game ever?
whats pathetic is that crap you say in your video, and the videos comments.
yeah, it might be a patch fail, but you obviously have no clue about the amount of work, or time that goes into something like that. no clue whatsoever.
i know what they are doing and obviously they took a shortcut on this project to fix it its clear they failed at fixing it.
why dont you explain to everybody here... what exactly treyarch did that makes this a lazy pathetic shortcut of a patch...
be specific..
i dont think you know what youre talking about..... you dont like the way they patched it... fine, leave it at that.... but lets not pretend you have any damn clue about the work that goes into doing this stuff...
because you dont. and it's latently obvious with the stupidity youre saying..

I don't see why people are giving you such a hard time.
First of all I've never done the glitch and not intent on trying it.
If my job that I did for a living and earning thousands for as a coder, would you not expect the job to be done correctly for the customer?
In the first black ops it wasn't an issue so it's the result of a bad coder, lets hope this is only a temporary patch.
Also when he says "just die" he means take damage when hit like how it should be.
The hating is unnecessary so stop.

Patching a glitch takes a lot more time than a few minutes. First you have to change your coding what in turn could make more glitches and if it does fix them and then once you have fixed your coding and you can't find anymore glitches in the coding you have to submit it to the relevant platform manufacturer and have them check it over. To submit a patch to Microsoft you have to pay $10,000 I think it is and if they do find any glitches in it you have to go back and do it again and once you have you have to pay them again and carry out that process until they are happy with it and once they are you can then decide on a release date for the patch. Takes time doesn't it?
