when ps3 is free online and in my gaming experince xbox is 10x better but i got banned so im just sticking with ps3 as its fun and most my friends moved over

As mentioned above the playstation network is free.
Also the playstation store IMO has a much better layout and unlike Microsofts "buy 1200 points for that map pack you want that only requires 800 points" payment system, PSN uses a wallet system where you pay for content with you credit card at the actuall cost of the content. For example the walking dead series, you pay 3.99 because that's how much it cost. You don't buy 500 points or what ever and have 100 points you can't actually do anything with.
Also if you pay for an annual or monthly membership to playstation plus, you get free games! Not demos.. Or trials.. Actual full retail games. I downloaded dead space the other day.. FREE! I used to pay 15 every 3 months for xbl and dead space would still have cost me 15 lol.
Some of the ps only titles are also amazing, don't get me wrong I loved GOW on Xbox, but games like uncharted and little big planet and infamous are brilliant.
The web browser is an actual web browser and I have yet to find a web page I can't view.
Don't like your background/theme? Google one you think you would like and download it, chuck it on a flash drive and put it on your ps3.
Got an hd tv? Watch some blu rays!
A fan of multiplayer? 18 people on cods ground war can be fun or even 32 players on battle field. Another ps3 exclusive.. MAG! 250 player multiplayer lol. Or resistance.. 60+
I've owned both Xbox and PS3 (Have owned every console released since getting a NES for my 10th birthday) for maybe 4 years now (Xbox probably 5) and I got back into my ps3 around 3 months ago and haven't turned the Xbox on since.

I agree with the majority of what everyone above me is saying, but it depends on the person.
If you are a competitive person and do Gamebattles a lot and like the competitive atmosphere that is surrounded by Xbox like MLG then stick to Xbox.
To me PS3 is better then Xbox.
I miss the real competitive atmosphere on the Xbox but, i said Hundreds of $ a year with the PS3. Instead of paying around $100 a year for XBL. I can pay around $70 and get a year with tons of games.
Also the layout of the friends list and the way you can customize your details/location/name isn't the same with the PS3. I miss that also about the Xbox :|
