I thought this was kind of weird how he went from a sort of relaxed laugh to an emotional speech. This wasn't one of those nervous laughs, it just seemed like a casual day one. Really weird.
If you haven't watched the full speech then type it in.
I don't meant to disrespect the lost lives of those children and teachers but people just watch this.

Looks like he was talking to someone behind him, perhaps someone was giving him a quick pep talk before he made his speech and he was thanking them with a laugh, putting on a brave face, I do it sometimes.
Or maybe, he's just a weird guy.
Or maybe the post above mine [if the first reply is above this]

But its kind weird how he's all happy and calm, then all of a sudden its like he's putting on an act. It would be more believable if he all calm at the beginning and then the emotions started to build up during the speech. Not just suddenly turn on emotions when your on air.

so your saying he allowed for his child to be killed? If so, you sir are an idiot, have some respect and honor the children who died not make stories up saying that a parent was involved in a 'plot' to kill 20 kids and 6 adults i believe it was.

What the hell is wrong with you people. When did I even say that. I'm trying to say that "things are not always what they seem" - you can interpret that whichever way you want.

You also have to remember that this man has just gone through a very traumatic experience, anyone who has lost a close relative knows that you do strange things in order to cover up the truth of the situation because it hurts so much.
Perhaps this man was doing that and when he stepped to the podium, he realized deep down why he was there and was overcome with emotions hence the sudden change.

maybe your right. But you must have an open mind. You and I don't know this man, we dont know what he's capable of. we don't even know if those kids are his. Just because the news says something doesn't make it true.

Although I don't agree with most of what you just said, it's your opinion and I'm not going to argue.
However, I couldn't agree more with your last statement.

Fair enough - At least your showing that you have a brain unlike some people who just shun anything that does not go with what they believe in ignorance. I understand that some of the things that i'm saying you may not agree with, but we must ask these questions, some that we may not agree with if we are to get the bigger picture. Not just keep our minds in a box and block out anything that the idiot box(TV) doesn't tell you.
