Don't get Antwand Pearman wrong. He doesn't think video games are to blame for tragedies like the shooting at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut. But he said he does think gamers have a place in mourning of the 20 children and 7 adults who were killed.

Pearman, who is the CEO and Founder of GamerFitNation, is organizing an online cease fire for this coming Friday, Dec. 21. He wants all gamers to put down the controllers and stop firing virtual bullets to honor those who were killed by real bullets last Friday.



IMO:
I think this is awesome that he is doing this for not only the gaming community but for the entire Nation.And it is the step in the right direction...

Let me just say how futile this is.

One day on Planetside 1 there was a E-Funeral being held for a kid that died while playing the game, factions stopped shooting each other and even the GM's attended.

You know what happened?

Honestly, I'm tired of hearing about this story. Tragedies happen everyday.
Gaming had nothing to do with this.
