Basically I had a bad accident at a place, I got glass stuck inside my hand, had to have stitches, consultant phoned my home the next day and told me to get back up to hospital asap, underwent some tests and he thought i had to have nerve repair surgery,so I went and had the op and my nerve was slightly damaged but was still intact,Although there is no guarantee I won't have any long term effects, permanent numbness, pins and needles alot etc, I went and seen a solicitor and he said I have a clean cut case (ironically) I will find out among the next two months, this definitely wasnt my fault, if the claim is successful how much would that sort of injury be worth? I'm just curious.

How is anyone here supposed to know? I'm sorry about your injury, but get off of TTG and ask a lawyer.

Well It depends. If you work with your hands you could get paid some what well, but I'm guessing. If you do have long term effects down the road then you might get a lot of money but I don't really know. Ask your parents/friends and see If they know.

It's hard to tell. You don't actually go into specific detail on how it happened. If it was something like you were horsing around and you broke a window, than you're out of luck. However if it is something that is the employers and/or landlords fault, than you can make a buck or two that you can use to pay for the medical bill. * Unless you are in Canada, than its FREE!*

If it hadn't been cleaned, than I believe you should be able to make a claim. Woohoo, Go UK!
