Macklemore is my favorite rapper/musician. i like how he describes everything as i see it like the song "WINGS"
i always felt that every one saw my shoes as i did but truth is no one really cares and sees them as just another pair of shoes just like he said at the end of the song "WINGS".
i think his Top 3 songs are-
1.WINGS
2.Other Side
3.Thrift shop
----------------------------------------------------------------------
let me know what your opinions on macklemore are.
if he relates to you/how he relates to you
and what you think his top 3 songs are
thank you
-NC
P.s.
I think the song "otherside" could do without ryan lewis

Don't care for him, don't listen to him.
I don't dislike him or have anything against him though, I just refuse to listen to any post-2000 "rap."

Whoa I'm sorry but this is just not good enough, ONLY good song? Yes that is your opinion, but I think he is ONE of the best lyricists in the game right now. Not the best, no, but one of the best, he is very smart and if you pay attention to his lyrics, they're all relateable!

I don't even know who that is. I haven't looked into or researched any current day rappers aside from Brotha Lynch Hung and Tech N9ne, but that's because I was already listening to their old tunes. I liked Tech N9ne up until KOD, but Klusterfuk and All 6's and 7's were huge let downs. Brotha Lynch is still goin' hard though.

Logic is awful.
Anything after 2000 is horrid. Unless it's an underground movement like Cyne, The Organized Threat, Living Legends, Jedi Mind Tricks, or Mobb Deep. That's the only music I'll listen to after 2000. Logic sounds like any other modern rapper like Huey Mack, Hi-Rez, or Cam Meekins - no originality and his rhyme scheme is the same to every single song with no ability of multi-syllable rhyming.
These artists/groups make any rapper post 2000 look awful:
Kool G Rap, Cypress Hill, Dr. Dre, Tupac, Notorious B.I.G., Slum Village, Special Ed, Wu-Tang Clan, Mantronix, Common, A Tribe Called Quest, Public Enemy, The Pharcyde, Big L, Luniz, Method Man, Fugees, House of Pain, LL Cool J, Blackalicious, Cyne, Atmosphere, Living Legends, Eyedea and Abilities, Jedi Mind Tricks, Apathy, Mos Def, Black Thought, Common, Zion I, Tech 9 (The actual one), Spittage, Nas, Mobb Deep, Large Professor, Eric B. and Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Coolio, Brand Nubian, Gang Starr, Ice Cube, Redman, Diamond D, KRS-One, Main Source, N.W.A., Souls of Mischief, Black Moon, Snoop Dogg, Scarface, The Roots, GZA/Genius, Raekwon, Outkast, De La Soul, Ghostface Killah, Noreaga, Lauryn Hill, DMX, MF Doom, Eminem (Yeah, I just got to him), Kurupt, Royce Da 5'9, Cormega, Bone Thugs N' Harmony, Talib Kweli, Pharoahe Monch, Onyx, ODB, The Organized Threat, Anilyst, Digital Underground, Casual, Phesto, Khaos Unique, Snupe, A-Plus, Opio, Brotha Lynch, COS, and even Lauryn Hill makes rappers these days look pathetic lyrically.
There's a few exceptions, but they get no recognition.. This guy:

^ Knows what he's talking about.
But as for Macklemore? He's horrible except for "Wings" and "The Town" but "Thrift Shop" and the rest are awful.. Lol.
