Posting in the iOS forum will have mainly people saying iPhone 5..

I only own the iPhone 5 so I couldn't tell you which is better but, I really like my iPhone.. All I use it for is texting friends/ect. Ive dropped it a few times and its held together pretty well. No cracks or anything so I guess it's pretty durable.

I currently own the iphone 5 and regret getting it. It's a good phone but you can't customise it and the ios is pretty boring without a jailbreak. Since the iphone 4 it's been the same and they haven't really changed much

For this reason I would have to say the galaxy note 2 is better and I will be selling my iphone 5 to get one in January 2013

I love android and apple, I had the Samsung galaxy s3 for 2 weeks, then returned it for an iphone 5 because android tends to get a little laggy which frustrates me.

Both are great phones. It all just depends on your preference. If I were you I would go with the Samsung Galaxy note. I've been having a few problems with my iPhone 5 such as LTE turning on and off every so often. The Galaxy Note also has a bigger screen as well, which is also good.

I prefer iPhone 5 mainly because iOS is better than Android.
