Im on a low budget and i was wondering if a Acer Aspire 5755G is any good for gaming for example BF3 low-medium settings and other games such as ARMA 2 and Minecraft?

I believe it should be able to run BF3, on at least low settings maybe better. But MC and what not yeah for sure. Cod's yeah, and like GTA and stuff.

My old laptop had the 640M, which is above the one in this laptop (630M).

It ran Minecraft fine actually, and also recorded it fine. It overheated quite a bit (not literally, but hell was that thing boiling hot), because laptops like this are not primarily conducted for gaming.

Overall, you should be fine. Mine ran Battlefield 3, Call of Duty, all of those games, absolutely fine.

For that price you could get a desktop but are you using the laptop for mobility?
