Im looking to buy a very powerful Antivirus for my new gaming pc,
I don't want norton because of all the previous problems with it.
but if thats the best and if they have updated it since I used it thats fine.

And does anyone know if the pro version of avast is good or bad?

Go with the free Avast or paid Norton if you think you need anything more. Norton used to suck, but now it's at the top of the heap. From what I've seen, Avast tests the best of the free AVs. I'd recommend you save your money and get the free Avast.

I use Kaspersky 2013 and its been great
