Minecraft has been out for quite a while now, so are there any successful elevators that do not lag and get you stuck?

I have made a lot of different elevators and none are very flawless but which is the best for the 360 verison? +REP for helpful answer and link to a video.

P.S. What is the maximum enchanting level and whats the easiest way to know what enchanment you are getting? +REP for this too.

Well the max enchanting is level 30 it was 50 but they patched it

I see how i worded my question wrong there so I will Rep you anyway but what is the maximum level you can reach in the game not the max level you can enchant.
