In this topic I'm going over what has changed in YouTube.
Back when there were a select amount of people with a capture card, they earned themselves subs and views with quality videos. There were the best players who really deserved it all, and that slowly changed.
Content Creators.
Nowadays every other kid has his own HD PVR. He uploads the worst content possible and spams his videos trying to get himself out with his useless methods and attempts while they fail. This is taking away on the rankings from hard working content creators who could barely afford a PVR and have some of the most entertaining videos out there.
The Partnering System/Money.
People used to only get a PVR when they really deserved it. When people would watch their commentaries/gameplays. Partnerships used to be a one of a kind thing on a channel. YouTube relies on money and teamwork now. You can pay to get a channel known and partnered, you can buy views, subs, you can get partnered off of what you have in your pocket with no effort.
No Channels Are Unique.
No channels are unique anymore, and the ones who are don't get the attention they could use. Every 360 quickscope cod kiddy gets 1,000 subs while someone playing Skyrim will throw a party for 10 subs. Their efforts and hard work on videos get no attention because YouTube gaming is flooded with just another call of duty 12 year old who got a capture card for their birthday or Christmas.
This is the most part on why YouTube is dying. If so many kids didn't have some money and their own PVR the people who deserve things for their work get nothing for it. YouTube is falling and we need something fresh.

I agree, but i wouldn't say every kid with a quick scope gets 1000 subs. Also i remember when big channels used to give shout outs and do videos with people who don't have very many subs/views. Another bad thing is when you search something on YouTube, it comes up with the highest viewed video at the top. For instants there could be someone with some of the best content ever and don't have a lot of views won't get recognition because their video is not on the 1st page.
