Hello, I am buying a new laptop this sunday & would like to know if there is anything I can buy that will help me do this, I have heard there are usb cables that allow two computers to exchange data?

External HDD is the way to go. Just get a 320GB if you only need to back up 130GB of stuff. That is what I did.

That is a good deal and good luck. You will need some good software, but most of it is free.

Or if you want you can take the hardrive that you have and just put it in the new laptop, but this might void the warranty.. Or like he said you can use an external hardrive which is the way to go, because you'll ALWAYS have a back up if your new laptop ever crashed (Hope it won't!!)
