When you go on to an online free roam you can see co-op challenges if you pause the game.
Go on to them and the top one will explain what to do.

Drive a total of whatever that number says in online free roams, and you will get 5mil.
They are called co-op challenges, everybody in the lobby driving around, they're miles contribute towards it.
