NOTE - I only mean booting a friend offline for a joke not bloody companies etc! LOL!
Is booting people offline for like a minute actually illegal? I know its DDosing, but really, is it actually illegal and what do you think would happen if I got caught? How can you get caught, is it only if someone reports you? Thanks a lot for any help I get.

Anything like that is illegal. Even 1 second is illegal.

Yes it is illegal, If you got caught? Not a clue probably wipe your PC hdd idk

It can be illegal but if you do it once or twice then you shouldn't get caught. But there is a slight chance that you might....
I wouldn't do it as if you get caught most likely you can get your internet cut off or in some cases a Prison sentence :S. This has actually happened, I will show you some cases where there has been some people who have been sent to prison, for such a little thing like doing this.
But it also depends on what you DDos, if you DDos a livestream then that isn't that bad but if you DDOs a company then that can be quite bad....

Ohh ok well in that case, you will probably get booted offline or maybe a console ban if you get caught.
