FIFA MANAGER CAREER MODE GUIDE/TIPS

WRITTEN BY DENZELDENCHINGTON

INTRODUCTION -

If you are a fan of Fifa Ultimate Team, I would highly suggest that you should try out the Manager Career Mode. It is extremely fun and a lot less frustrating than FUT. Another advantage of this is that it increases your skill on Fifa by quite a large amount as you will learn how to beat teams by passing and moving.

TIPS -

1. SETTINGS - I would suggest that you play on either Professional or World Class. Try out both difficulties and if you can't win easily on Professional, stick with it; if you win very easily, bump the difficulty up to World Class. I prefer playing on World Class as it challenges me. I would also suggest having the half lengths at either 4 or 5minutes, this enables you to complete lots of games and it won't become boring.

2. TEAM CHOICE - The key objective of Manager Career Mode is to increase the quality of a team therefore if you start with a team such as Manchester City or Arsenal it will be a very boring experience. I would suggest starting with a lower league team, therefore you will have to work in order to increase the rating of the team. I personally chose the football team I support; West Ham United.

3. PLAYERS TO BUY - Just like in real life football, every player has a potential; older players will decrease as the season goes on and younger players will increase in rating. A very useful website for finding out the best players to buy is [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] . The potential of the player is a rough estimate and you can actually go over that potential if they perform exceptionally.

4. EASFC - In the EASFC catalogue, there are quite a few items which you can purchase to benefit your Manager Career; however I would only buy the 'Scout a Future Star' item. A key item that you can buy to enhance your game play is the 'Financial Takeover', but I believe that this ruins your career as you don't have to do much work in order to improve the team.

5. INTERNATIONAL MANAGER - Another feature of the Manager Career Mode is the ability to manage an International Club. Throughout your career you will get offers from many International Clubs, but if I was you I would reject them. Managing an International Club is very time consuming and doesn't benefit you in any way, so avoid it.

6. HOW TO EARN MONEY - In order to earn money for your transfer budget, you will need to will competitions and cups. Another way in which you can earn money is by buying low rated players with high potentials and working them up so that their rating is in the 80's. I done this on my own Manager Career with El Shaarawy; I bought him when he was 76 rated and increased his rating to around 85, I then sold him to Barcelona for $55million.

7. YOUTH NETWORK - Another key feature of the Manager Career Mode is the Youth Network. This enables you to hire scouts which will then set up a scouting network in a desired location. I would suggest hiring scouts that have a rating of 4stars or hire for both experience and judgement. Another tip would to send your scout to countries such as Brazil, Italy and Spain, this is where the majority of young players come from. During my Manager Career Mode, I only sign players with a potential between 84-100 as you will gradually acquire lots of these players and you will begin to fill your club.

8. SIMULATING GAMES - One feature of the Manager Career Mode is the ability to simulate games. I would suggest doing this only for games against low rated teams, but not too often. A nice little way in which you can abuse this is by saving your Manager Career and then simulating the game; if you win you can continue however if you lose, back out of Manager Career Mode and make sure you don't save it, then load up the previous save and simulate the match again. You can then repeat this until you win.

Sign a young star is ok, but financial takeover ruins the objective of it! Just buy cheap players with high potential and you can make like 50million in a year
