I still occasionally play Far Cry 2, but if I play it for too long in one shot, I get bored. I have played FC3 every night since it released. I can spend hours just hunting and skinning animals to sell their hides or craft gear. As I said, the annoyances from Far Cry 2 are gone, including having to hunt for diamonds to buy things. Instead, you use actual money. And, you can now sell items (skins and such) that you find in the world.

Overall, I highly recommend this game.

I'd totally get It. It's such a good game. I just beat the campaign yesterday. Even after I beat the campaign I still have side missions to do.

havent tried MP but co op story is decent as a filler but the main story is incredible

I don't think it's worth buying. I was extremely disappointed, I don't find the game fun at all. It's really boring to me.

I just don't find it fun at all for a few reasons. The audio is downright horrendous. It sounds like the voice actors all had bags over their heads when they recorded their lines. Also, the guns are terrible. They take like 12 shots to kill a person. And when a person gets shot, they flinch a bit, then just go right back to normal as if they weren't even scratched. Don't even get me started on the knifing system, it is a disgrace. The biggest issue I have is the controls and interface. The controls feel extremely clunky, they don't really "fit" well. The HUD is annoying and visually unpleasant. It makes me feel as if I have no current objectives, so I constantly feel as if I'm wandering around aimlessly. All in all, the game feels very clunky and unappealing. I'd give it a 5/10.
