To play on that, you'll need to put the resolution down to around 720, or whatever option is closest. At around medium settings, you should get playable framerates

Bf3- You should be able to play on high settings at around 60 fps
Minecraft- Easily playable.
Planetside 2- about 45 fps on max settings. Very playable.
arma 2- 50 fps or so on max settings . Playable
Crysis 3- I imagine that you will be able to play it. However, I cannot guarantee it because it is not even out yet.

I don't think he will get 60 fps on fc3 with a 660 on everything maxed....

Look at the previous posts. He will get something more along the lines of medium with a 660
