The laptop charge port could have a loose connection in it, Do you often pull out the charge cord hard?

Well if it is a loose connection port you'd need to take it to a shop to get it fixed.

I had this problem, I couldn't fix it so I got new one. But I think the charger port is probably loose and when you put in the charger it goes in more so the charger can't connect to it so try to open it up and fix the loose port, but if that doesn't work then I don't know how you can fix this but hope this helped.
