Cruze wroteTed- wroteCruze wroteTed- wrote a40's are much better.... wireless headsets are very unreliable and can break much easier than wired, the extra $60 you pay for A50's is definetely not worth it
i beg to differ, iv had 3 wired headsets and the wires and mics have gone in them, my 2 other wireless ones still work, i just replaced them, so i decided to stick with wireless. and now that these are batteryless i enjoy them much more
I had the x41's and they were the worst headset ever... the interruption which I got when playing was absolutely ridiculous for the amount of money I paid for them
The Reviews on the x41/x500's where terrible. any wireless headset that turtle beach has produced are terrible. iv had 2 sets of tritons(wireless) and turtle beach x11 x12 px21 and x31<wireless> and out of em all astros a50's are the way to go for me.
I think turtle beaches are better for the casual gamer that just plays, and not to burst your bubble x11's and x12's aren't wireless and most of the newer Turtle beach models are better and of course Astro's are the way to go what type of a answer is that?Your paying for a $250+ headset it has to be good but its overpriced think about what you could have done with that money and I doubt your one of those hardcore gamers.

THuNdErModsCoD wrote The only problem with astros are their price. $299.99 is just wayyy to much for a headset that most likely will break due to wear and tear.they are pricey but as i said durability is top in this headset from what i see and read
