Typing wroteMy dad didn't want to switch ISP's, but he did upgrade to U-Verse. U-verse isn't the best, but mine now has 12mbps. So now I can download things at around 1.5 MBps max, which is a huge up from my whopping 300KBps. Try to have your parents upgrade to U-Verse it's so much better, and the installation shouldn't take that long, an hour at most.Tattoo wrote I agree. I use to have it I would always be 1-3 bar connection, lagging out of parties and games. It was horrible, but now I have Comcast.
I would suggest calling your ISP and see if there is anything you can do or start looking for another company.
Wasn't expecting you to comment on here. But yes I have suggested to my parents to call them, but they say no just deal with and all like that. So I'm like whatever.

Exact same thing i was telling my mom yesterday , she called them and they raised it to 6mbps ( or whatever its called ) for only $5 more a month + $50 installtion fee . They should come by in like 2 weeks and install it . Hopefully it lets me play xbox while someone else is on our wifi.
