My belkin router will not work. No matter how many times you unplug it or resttart it. but when you plug the modem into a computer it works. and only the router light will light up. if you know how to fix it i will be SOOOOO gratefull.

You may have a line fault, ring your home phone if you have a broadband and phone package and see if the line is crackling then post back and ill assit further.

It's not a line fault then, your physical connection is fine. You may need to disconnect you modern/router for several hours from the land line (Disconnecting the phone line from the box) but leave it powered up. Other than the methods i have stated, you may need to contact your ISP. In the UK it costs 80 for an Engineer call out so be prepared for a hit in the pocket. Sorry i couldnt resolve the issue.
