Which macbook should I get + is there any difference with the retina + if anyone has a retina, does the screen actually look any better?

Generation wrote SSD vs generic slow HDD.
High resolution IPS display vs some resolution TN panel.
8GB's of RAM vs 4GB's.

The only Macbooks worth looking at are the MBA + rMBP. End of story. The non rMBP is terrible value.

Does the screen actually look better? It does not even compare. Go to your local big box store or even the Apple store its self and see it in real life since videos do not give it justice.

If you have the money to buy the rMBP, it's a solid choice.

The 15" model does have a 650M, which is perfectly capable of some light gaming if you play at less than the native resolution. Even desktop cards would struggle at the native res of this thing.

But I wouldn't recommend gaming on an Apple computer in the first place. Also keep in mind that the 13" rMBP uses Intel HD 4000 Integrated (and I like this one much more).
