If your looking for cheap and alright quality then i would say dazzle , They have pretty good quality for the price that it is ( i got mine for $25 refurbished) , if you want to step up the quality then you also buy the S-VIDEO cable and it makes the quality WAY better + gives you widescreen .

Bottom line : if your just starting to make videos , then buy a dazzle and make your way up to a pvr...

Without SVIDEO

With S-VIDEO

If you want to checkout more of the qualit then you can go to my channel , just about evey video on their was recorded with a dazzle.

For cheap a Roxio game capture HD pro. It's pretty much a quality of an Elgato.

Yeh i defenitly agree with 911, if you can't afford the pvr yet go for the dazzle, get an s video cable easy, all together its only costing you not even 30 pounds to 50 dollars worth your money though, but my opinion i'd deffo save up for the pvr
