Hey guys so ive been doing some research and ive decided to do my first build as ive heard its much cheaper than buying a ready made pc. Ive picked out the important components/hardware but im not sure whether they will all work together if i build it. Ive listed them down below, and would appreciate any help as to whther they will work or how i can improve it.
MSI B75MA-E33 Motherboard
8GB (2x4GB) Corsair XMS DDR3 PC3-10666 (1333) RAM
Pioneer BDR-207DBK Blu-ray Writer 12x BD-R
Intel Core i5 3570K,1155, Ivy Bridge, Quad Core, 3.4GHz CPU
500GB Western Digital WD5000AZRX Caviar Green, 3.5" HDD, SATA III - 6Gb/s Hard Drive
And also, im not sure what power supply to use? Thats the only bit that seems to have confused me so far! Any help at all will be much appreciated!

1. You don't want to use a CPU with an unlocked multiplier with a board that doesn't support (officially on most models) overclocking.
2. Will you actually use Blu-Ray disks? Being realistic will save you a lot of money.
3. You can get a non-K i5 with a locked multiplier to save money if you're not overclocking and/or don't have an aftermarket cooler or board that supports it.
4. You do not want to use a 5400 RPM drive as your boot drive.
What's your budget and currency? Will this be used for gaming?

Firstly thanks off for all this help!
Which CPU should I use instead with this board, ill only be wanting it for low level games such as L4D2 and DayZ (on low settings) but at least want an i5 processor. The blu ray player isnt really a necessity so i downgraded that, and my budget is around 300 punds (UK) now. For the 5400RPM drive, is that the Hard Drive? If so would a 7200rpm drive be better?

300 GBP is not going to get you an i5 and Arma 2 is a very demanding game.

Normally, I would disagree with your post, as you've not stated a reason as to why - however I've just had my 3rd WD hard drive this year (well from 2012). 2nd one in my laptop, which has gone already after 3 months.
1 in a home computer, which again has gone after 1 year.
I'm going to ask for a full refund and buy a seagate. I've only ever had problems with western digital, and their customer service is poor. I would, personally, stay well clear from them, but that's only my personal experience, and you might have the same one with seagate.

For psu go with a xfx 450w.
Nuff said.
Ps. You don't need a i5 a i3 or amd processor will be fine.
