Normally, I would disagree with your post, as you've not stated a reason as to why - however I've just had my 3rd WD hard drive this year (well from 2012). 2nd one in my laptop, which has gone already after 3 months.
1 in a home computer, which again has gone after 1 year.
I'm going to ask for a full refund and buy a seagate. I've only ever had problems with western digital, and their customer service is poor. I would, personally, stay well clear from them, but that's only my personal experience, and you might have the same one with seagate.
Yeah it must be certain ones that are made and mine has been fine for nearly 1 year now
