You're doing it wrong then. Make sure you open up your player data first, and then your profile.

No. You have to transfer your Gears of war game onto your flashdrive. If you're using Horizon (which I highly recommend) your Player Data should be there.

Does [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] affect the medals? It would be easier for me to just do that then the medal count. Say for pistols I put 5999 and then go online to get one more. Would it still give me the onyx medal? Because at this point I'm tired of trying to get this legit.

Yeah this affect the medals, but don't forget to set the pistol medal to gold.
Otherwise you will stuck at your silver or bronze.

Also you should mod your pistols kills in weapons tab, then it looks more legit.

So then say I have 2k pistol kills already. I would need to change the number on the program to 5999 and it'll change the number(also the medal to gold)?

Yes it then shows i.e. 5999 kills ingame but you have to change the medal to gold by yourself in the editor. Otherwise the game think you have already earned gold and doesn't unlock it for you.
