Hey, made a new PC recently and for some reason getting low FPS on guild wars 2 and skyrim, even on low graphics?

My specs are:

ram - 16gb (8x2) corsair dominator

processor - intel i5 3570k

motherboard - ASROCK Z77 Exteme4 Motherboard

graphics card - AMD Sapphire HD Radeon 7970

any suggestions?

Do you have the drivers installed? Check amds site for the latest graphics drivers.

Then you have to search from there. I would do that buy I'm on my phone.

I also forgot to add make sure your display cable is plugged into the graphics card and not the motherboard. That could be the reason why you're getting low fps. It could mean you're using integrated graphics and not gpu.

I already tried installing the newest drivers and no difference, is there a fast way to check what graphics I'm using?

Look at the back of your PC, and see where the VGA/DVI cable is plugged in. If it is plugged in inside the red area, then unplug it and plug it in the green area. Your PC will look different, but this is just an example.

You could have to many programs running at once and that could slow performance big time.

Try going to [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] to see if you can even run the desired game/s.

Hope i could help!
